Texas Children's Hospital - Pediatric Trauma Symposium
Parking is not included. Dress in your normal work attire or business casual. Refunds accepted up to 30 days prior to the day of the course. Pediatric Trauma Symposium is a day of trauma education provided by content experts from all areas of the hospital in order to support staff that care for, or are interested in caring for, the trauma patient. The course has been designed to benefit healthcare providers from all units and departments. Trauma Symposium offers education through the form of an interactive case study. We will walk through a trauma patient's journey in the following areas: Scene of the injury Community ED Level I ED OR: General surgery OR: Orthopaedic surgery OR: Neurosurgery Critical Care Acute Care Post-discharge follow-up Texas Children's Hospital is an approved provider with commendation of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association - Approver, an accredited approver with distinction, by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION: To receive contact hours for this continuing education activity, the participant must: Sign in Attend the entire activity Complete a post-activity evaluation
