HFSC Symposium - Evidence Handling: Challenges, Pitfalls and Solutions
The Houston Forensic Science Center’s 5th annual symposium, Evidence Handling: Challenges, Pitfalls and Solutions, will address the importance of proper preservation, storage, transfer and handling of evidence and its direct impact on public safety. The integrity of evidence is a key factor in ensuring quality forensic analysis. It can also mean the difference between a successful and unsuccessful prosecution. Hear from leaders from across the justice system as they discuss the challenges of evidence handling and property management. Two CLE and two CFE credits are available. TCOLE credits will be available pending approval. This event is cosponsored by the Department of Multicultural Community Relations in Public Affairs at Rice University.
