SALVE WELLNESS SERIES "The Truth About Organic & Natural / Pesticides / Vitamins & Minerals 101"
The SALVE Wellness Series is a monthly educational workshop. This session will be held on Saturday, Sept 2 from 2:15-4:15 p.m. held at the University of Houston Sugar Land, Fort Bend County Library. Based in both evidence-based science and natural medicine, this educational series will be presented by integrative medicine educator and SALVE's Founder/CEO, Dahlia Kelada, and may include guest practitioners. The format will include lecture, part workshop and discussion. Information will be presented in a manner that is easy to understand. This session will address: Organic vs natural vs processed The truth about pesticides Vitamins & Minerals 101 Do's and Don'ts about mixing vitamins and other medicines What to look for when vitamin shopping Who should come: Anyone interested in learning more about their health and wellness options in an easy-to-understand, evidence-based and unbiased format. Family, friends and caregivers are welcome. The content presented is suitable for ages 11 and up. Minors attending should be accompanied by an adult. What to bring: A dedicated notebook just for this series and a pen. Bring the bottle of one of the supplements you use on a regular basis. Please be on time.
